Amnet 2015 Customer Survey Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is a promotion run by Amnet Broadband Pty Ltd ABN 38 092 472 350, Level 1, 45 St George Terrace, Perth WA 6000. (“Promoter”).
  2. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. The competition is open to current customers of the Promoter at the time the competition is drawn. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
  4. The competition commences 9:00am AWST, 15 January 2015 and closes 11:59pm AWST, 27 January 2015.  The competition will be drawn at 10:00am AWST on 29 January 2015 at the Promoter’s Head Office, Level 1, 45 St George Terrace, Perth WA 6000.
  5. There will be 12 winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received and ranked in order of first, second and third through to twelfth. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Entry is by

    1. completing Amnet’s 2015 Customer Survey and selecting the “Yes” option to participate in the competition at the end of the survey questions and
    2. providing the Promoter with all required contact details including name, Amnet customer number, phone number and email address.
  7. Only one entry per entrant is permitted and only one prize will be awarded to each winner.
  8. The winner of:
    1. first prize will receive one (1) Apple MacBook Air 11-inch: 256GB (MD712X/B) valued at $1,200 RRP inc GST;
    2. second prize will receive one (1) 16GB Apple iPad® with WiFi only valued at $349 RRP inc GST. The prize does not include data plan for the Apple iPad®. Data plans and associated charges will be the responsibility of the winner; and
    3. third to twelfth prize will each receive one (1) Apple TV MD199X/A is valued at $109 RRP each inc GST.
  1. The prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of a prize between the publishing date and the date that a prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
  2. Apple, MacBook Air, Apple TV and Apple iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Apple is not a sponsor of this promotion.
  3. Prizes will be delivered to the winner within 1 month from the date that the competition is drawn.  A prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  4. The winner will be notified by email or phone using the email addresses or phone numbers the winner provided at the time they entered the competition. Competition results will be published on the Promoter’s website at The prize will be couriered or posted to the winner using the addresses provided by the winner when they are notified that they have won a prize in this competition.
  5. If a competition winner(s) is unable to be contacted within one week of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 10:00am AWST on 12 February 2015 at the Promoter’s Head Office, Level 1, 45 St George Terrace, Perth WA 6000 and the redraw winner will be notified by email or phone using the email address or phone number they provide when they entered the competition.
  6. All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  7. The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy.
  8. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia as may be required.
  9. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to a prize winner, and where applicable, to any persons accompanying a prize winner.
  10. If the competition is conducted on, or utilising, social media including, without limitation Facebook and Twitter, the competition shall be subject to the terms of use governing the applicable social media platform. In the event of an inconsistency between these terms and conditions, and the terms of use of the applicable social media tool, the terms of the applicable social media tool shall prevail.
  11. Without prejudice to clause 19 above, if the competition is conducted on Facebook, entrants:

    1. fully release Facebook from all liability arising out of the competition;
    2. acknowledge that the competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook; and
    3. understand and accept that information disclosed in connection with the competition is disclosed to the Promoter and not Facebook.
